The Green Fáilte Award is an environmental certificate awarded to Hospitality businesses which prove their commitment to the environment by fulfilling a number of key requirements. The award is granted based on performance in Environmental Management Systems, Waste management, Water management and Energy management.
We actively take part in environmental management strategies such as:

Environmentally Responsible Purchasing
Enhanced indoor Environmental Quality
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Raising Awareness through Engagement
We recycle as much waste as possible, each department segregates waste and we involve our guests in this through the use of Recycling Bags in the guestrooms
In the kitchen we have policies of purchasing in bulk whenever possible
We cut out Oil Drums and now store oil in large dispensers
In the main toilets you’ll notice hand wash dispensers are used instead of soaps
Back of House areas are on motion sensors
External lights are set on timers
The Building management system is updated in line with the seasons, (heat & lighting)
Eco friendly detergents are used on site
Environmentally Friendly Chafing Fuel is also used
All guestrooms are powered by Electronic Key Cards
We also have an Onsite Well that supplies water to the hotel
