Good Hotel, Great Facilities!
We got a good deal on the Brehon on-line and really enjoyed the stay.
The accommodation was top notch! With large bedroom, and en-suite with bath & shower. Our package included breakfast, which had a nice selection each morning. There were also good deals on in the hotel restaurant.
The vitality suit was the highlight of our stay at this hotel! The ‘pool', sauna, steam room & tropical shower are great, especially to aid recovery after a night out... The rates for massage treatments are reasonable enough, and well worth it!
The Brehon is about 5-10 minute walk from the main town area, but the staff were more than helpful when approached about organising a taxi at and suggesting places to head to for some nightlife. There is a cycle rental a few minutes walk from the hotel and provided the weather is good, it's a great way to get around Killarney.
I would return here again!
Top Class Hotel as always didn't disappoint
I stayed in the Brehon in Jan 2010 with my husband. As always the service and staff was of a very high standard and they couldn't do enough for us or help us during our stay. Its not my first stay in the hotel and it's nice to be recognised and acknowledged by Staff every time we visit Killarney. Food was very good and the Spa is just a blissful place to spend a few hours away from our usual hustle and bustle of city life. The hotel is a haven and a great place to chill and relax and enjoy a weekend break without having to move outside of its doors. I can't thank the Brehon enough for once again making our stay a very enjoyable once and I'm already planning my next break in Kerry, Killarney and the Brehon!
Great hotel, fab beds, lovely staff
We stayed here over New Year and went to the concert in the INEC next door. It was a brilliant night, Sharon Shannon, Mundy, Shane McGowan and Imelda May. What a line up! The gig was brilliant; they played from 9pm - 1am. Great atmosphere.
The hotel is lovely; it was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season. Best thing was the beds, so comfortable and really good quality linens, very hard to leave. Rooms are spacious and modern with good facilities, free Internet always a bonus. Breakfast was fantastic, great selection and even though the hotel was busy they coped very well with plenty of hot food, fruit, cereals, pancakes and waffles. The restaurant Danú is very nice, quite formal for dinner, with a very good wine selection. For a bit of luxury, keep the Brehon in mind. We used the leisure facilities and they are fabulous, also had a great massage, lovely Thai girls who know their stuff.
Excellent stay
Just back from a night in the Brehon. Our stay was faultless!! Our accommodation was available on arrival. Check in was prompt and efficient. We enjoyed lunch in the bar and the service was excellent. Rooms were bright, clean and spacious. Breakfast was buffet with lots to choose from. Overall, an excellent stay and I would highly recommend. If only other Irish hotels could take a leaf out of the Brehon's book!!!!
Relaxing
All the staff are wonderfully welcoming from the minute you arrive...The views out the bedroom window were beautiful I was entranced watching the red deer in the national park across the way.
