I hope you had an enjoyable Easter. We had an incredibly busy Easter here at The Brehon, but it was great fun. While the adults enjoyed Chocolate Afternoon Tea in our Mezzanine on Easter Sunday, the young and the young at heart took part in our Easter Egg Hunt & enjoyed the array of bouncing castles installed for the day.
The INEC has been busy with The High Kings on before St. Patricks Day, Menopause the Musical on Mothers Day & Christy Moore played to a full house on 26th March. Keith Barry performed his magic in a new show, The Asylum which was a great success, while forthcoming events include Gift Grub on 8th May & Boyz 11 Men on 22nd May. For Gift Grub fans there are limited tickets available with accommodation for €129 per person sharing.
We had great award success this month, with our Green Team receiving a Silver Medal at The Green Hospitality Awards. We also had our own staff appreciation awards, where the guests nominate the winners in our comment cards throughout the year. This year's overall winner was Christine O'Sullivan from our Reception Team. Christine & her friend were treated to a day in the Spa followed by a gourmet dinner in Danú.
In Killarney we are busy preparing for "The 3 Irish Open" taking place on the August Bank Holiday weekend. Killarney will definitely be the place to be that week, with fantastic events being planned. Put it in your diary now!

The Rally of the Lakes is on in Killarney on the May Bank Holiday weekend, The Killarney Races are on 9th/10th & 11th May & Ireland Bikefest takes place here next to The Brehon on the June Bank Holiday weekends.
