Santa is set to pay a flying visit to Killarney to switch on the lights of The Brehon Christmas Tree this Thursday December 1st at 5.30pm

The annual lighting of The Brehon Christmas Tree signals the start of Christmas festivities for many families in Killarney, and our guests will be treated to Mulled Wine, Hot Chocolate, Christmas Carols and a visit from the big man himself, Santa!

Our charity partner this year is Foodshare Kerry. We're looking for donations and we need your help...

How can I donate?

Food Share Kerry is an not-for-profit organisation set up to help local charity groups combat food poverty. This time of year is particularly difficult especially for families during the winter months.  Food Share rescue quality surplus food and make it available to organisations who know how best to redistribute it to those in need.

We're asking for you to donate "Food Boxes", where possible, of non perishable goods: i.e. Canned Foods, Peanut Butter. Jelly, Canned or Dry Soups, Tea Bags, Coffee, Baby Formula, Bagged Pastas & Rices, Cereal Bars, Granola Bars etc.

Food Boxes can be donated to The Brehon on December 1st (and for two weeks thereafter) so we can help those less fortunate than us this festive season! Cash donations are also appreciated to help Foodshare Kerry with their operating costs!

If you'd like to help support this event, or for more information on how you can donate please email Sean Tangney, Head of Communications at marketing@thebrehon.com
